"Almah"

I don't want to add this to the article myself, as I can't find a good source (I checked myself, which is of course not valid for a Wikipedia citation). I'm including it below so someone can add it if they can source it:

Despite its claims of literal word-for-word translation, the Hebrew word almah is translated as "virgin" in Isaiah 7:14, in accordance with Christian claims that this passage is a prophecy of Jesus' birth, rather than the more accurate "young woman." Metz77 (talk) 05:35, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
