@Lazz R: I think WP:MUSICDAB has more to do with the disambiguation in an article's name, not how it's listed on a DAB page. I modified the C418 link on this page to conform with my interpretation of:

  • MOS:DABMENTION - "Little Things" is not mentioned at C418, but is mentioned at C418 discography
  • MOS:DABPIPING - When the link is part of the description... piping can be used more freely. However, the text of the link should still be very similar to the title of the target article, to avoid confusing the reader
  • MOS:EGG - Keep piped links as intuitive as possible. Per the principle of least astonishment, make sure that the reader knows what to expect when clicking on a link

The discography link piped under the artist's name makes it appear as if it links to the artist's article. Most DAB editors I've seen pipe discography links under "song/album by ______" to notify the reader that they will be taken to a list. Hoof Hearted (talk) 15:34, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I had only meant that albums listed on disambiguation pages are not referred to as a "studio album", "compilation album", "live album" or a "mini album" etc, for the sake of consistency it should only be referred to as an "album". I have now explicitly linked the discography Lazz_R 12:20, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
