If this battalion was isolated then both the French and the american troops fell back.--Tresckow 02:40, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article is inconsistent

[edit]

There must be two "lost battalions", because the short excerpt explaining the article discusses World War II and the article itself concerns World War I. I recall the movie about the WWI "Lost Battalion" but was directed to this article from the article on the 442nd Nisei division.

I am not familiar with Wikipedia functionality, so if the next person who reads this comment could mark this article for revision/clarification I would be grateful. Thank you.70.23.96.221 02:23, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since there is one in each war, I am suggesting a split. Chris 06:42, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

support— The article subject is two completely separate and unrelated incidents that should be in separate articles. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 13:34, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
