What does this sentence even mean? "One real and one fictional battle have been fought around Loudoun Hill." 76.170.176.243 (talk) 02:45, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I realise that it can be difficult to prove a negative. However I have consulted Peter Traquair's "Freedom's Sword", a recent history of the period. It says nothing about Wallace before the Action at Lanark, and in its account of Bruce's battle at Loudon Hill it says nothing about an earlier battle at the location. I hope to look into this and a few other issues when the Mitchell Library re-opens. PatGallacher (talk) 22:54, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
