Hi!I really want to know about the considerations and precautions in Barium Enema for : a)Patient with colon enlargement b)patient with potential colon perforation c)patient with Ostomies and also details about Ostomies....

Hello, I am wondering why in the X-ray CT section on wikipedia the dose for a Barium Enema is stated as 3 times higher then an Abdominal CT while in the Barium Enema section it is practically reversed and stated that the dose for an Abd. CT is higher then a Barium Enema.

Thanks, 09:20, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

-- I came here to ask the same question. The radiation dose is cited on the CT page but not on this page. Therefore, I deleted the claim on this page. (talk) 23:27, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
