WikiProject Anime and manga Assessment
Glancing at the article, the major issues deals with repetition, and organization. This article could also benefit from a character infobox. --Imaginationac (Talk | Edits) 19:47, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes it does need a lot of work; please don't delete it out of hand. Yes there is repetition and organization and such: I grabbed a lot of info here and there from other sections when I realized that together they justified their own article. There are no character infoboxes for this specific series; is there a generic character infobox for fictional superpowered anime characters?--Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici 20:46, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
Name correction clean up
Looks like someone wrote "Kohta" instead of "Kouta", and several times. (CyberTigerrr 18:35, 8 June 2007 (UTC))
POV and OR
Most of the "all-too-human" diclonius and "cruel and sadistic" human type of stuff seems like OR, as well as POV - while it may just be me having an issue with absolving a mass-murderer who shows clear signs of narcissism of all their faults, it does seem to be, at the least, pressing the "she's more human than those filthy humans" thing a bit hard.KrytenKoro 00:56, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think so. --Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici
I have to agree her reasoning is extreme and very flawed she thinks cause a few normal people harmed her then everyone must be like that she is quite foolish in that sense she didn't stop and think and whens he started to think it was way too late--Vipa Human 04:53, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Statement Correct?
she will indiscriminately kill any human she comes across without hesitation even if they do not pose an immediate threat to her, such as Kurama's secretary Kisaragi.
I just ask because I was trying to rack my brain for any time she kills someone after she escapes that does not pose an immediate threat besides Kisaragi, and perhaps that could be because she had that blinder on and didnt realize it. I thought maybe this was a sign of her maturity as opposed to when she was younger. Then again I might just be forgetting something. At the same time I suppose this could be explained away by the fact she is in her passive personality when there is no immediate threat. Just thought it might be a depth of the character the article did not touch on Icanstillcu 07:48, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
I'd like to move it
To "Lucy and Nyu" as a similarity to other characters with alter egos and double personalities. Tell me what you think, I'll move it soon. ætərnal ðrAعon 09:31, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'd like to see the material in this page sourced to either the manga or the TV show (trying to do that in the character page). If we can do that, I think it would be perfectly appropriate to merge this into the character page. As it is right now, it's hard to tell where most of this comes from. I'd hate to just delete it all though. --Kraftlos (talk) 23:39, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Its sourced in that everything in it is based on the 13 episode series "Elfen Lied". If this were a 2 hour movie, would you want us to give minute by minute time index references?! Its plenty "sourced". --Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici (talk) 14:46, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, it's not enough to simply say that you got this from the anime and that you don't need to cite it. I'm trying to peg down some sources so we can at least salvage something from this page. According to WP:No original research:

- Information in an article must be verifiable in the references cited. Article statements generally should not rely on unclear or inconsistent passages nor on passing comments. Passages open to interpretation should be precisely cited or avoided. A summary of extensive discussion should reflect the conclusions of the source's author(s). Drawing conclusions not evident in the reference is original research regardless of the type of source. It is important that references be cited in context and on topic.
Deletion
While we're talking about it. Lucy and Nyū do not satisfy the notability requirements of having received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject; and since the creators of this article have failed to produce any reliable references, I propose deletion. --Kraftlos (talk) 20:41, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- A redirect/merge would be more prudent. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 20:46, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- A merge prop has been on this page for about a month and no action has been taken whatsoever. I don't see anything in here that would be essential to the character list or the main page. I'm sure if any of these details were important, they will probably come up again. --Kraftlos (talk) 20:50, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- That's why I asked my question on the other page. I just want to make sure no major points are lost. If all is good, consider it merged and redirect with the appropriate tag. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 20:55, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, you marked it for PROD. I'm saying if all relevant info is already in the character list, redirect this as merged, don't just delete it. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 21:06, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Ok, not deletion. Merge and redirect as per the merger discussion. --Kraftlos (talk) 21:27, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yep. I went ahead and did it :) -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 21:28, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
