Will review this (for the WikiCup). ceranthor 17:17, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hoping to get this in the next day or so. ceranthor 13:21, 12 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Prose

[edit]
Lead
  • "Carlos Muñoz, better known as Místico, is a Mexican second-generation" - "second-generation" meaning what here?
  • "(a "Face", someone who portrays the good guys in wrestling)" - perhaps written in an informal tone; also I think it's best to avoid idioms like "good guys"
  • "He is a former two times" - should be two-time
  • " His older brother" - seems like you mean Mistico, but you should clarify that you mean Mistico's brother and not his father's brother
  • "He has also wrestled both in Japan and Europe through CMLL's partnerships with other promotions as well as on the Mexican independent circuit." - with other promotions... such as? Don't need "also" *and* "both" - that's redundant
Professional wrestling career
  • "uncles Franco Columbo, Pit bull I, and Pit bull II" - both Pit bulls are his uncles?
  • "Lee wrestled mainly in six-man tag team matches with and against his stablemates,[9][10]" - stablemates? Don't know what that means
  • "before being put in his first major program the following April," - too passive. What about "entering" instead? And then tweaking the rest of the sentence to reflect that
  • "who went on to win the tournament.[16][17]" - why not just say "who won the tournament" and cut out "went on"
  • "qualified for the 2017 Universal Championship tournament.In the first round " - missing a space :)
  • " Místico was paired up with Negro Casas" - I think just "paired" is fine, no need for the "up"
Personal life
  • "His younger brother made his debut in November 2013 as the second Dragon Lee.[93][94] " - which "His" are you referring to here?
  • "Pit Bull I and Pit Bull II," - earlier you didn't capitalize these; be consistent throughout the article

References

[edit]
  • Refs should generally occur in increasing order, ie. [1][2][3] rather than [1][3][2]
  • Ref 2's title translation has a typo: ""Fantastica Mania" participants annonced!"
  • What makes Wrestleview a reliable source?
  • Ref 18's title translation also has a typo: "Quick results from Arena Mexico: "In Search of an Idol" is a new relality show from CMLL and Cadena 3]. "
  • Ref 21's translation has a space typo: "Mistico with the soul of the Dragon... The amazons of the ring in thecage]."
  • Ref 29's translation has a typo: "[Successful return f Místico in Arena Mexico]."
  • Ref 44 has a typo: " [Místico and Avernp for the National Welterweight Championship"
  • Ref 77: "Results from the Finals of the incredible pairs tournament: Místico and Mephisto defeats paradise" - shouldn't it be "defeat" not "defeats"?
  • What makes Ovaciones a reliable source?
  • What makes CageMatch a reliable source?
  • What makes The Internet Wrestling Database a reliable source?
  • Earwig's tool checks out.
