Crossover artists

[edit]

Because MCA's country music artists are separated from the main MCA Records article, the criteria for MCA's crossover pop and country artists' inclusion for listing in either the main MCA Records article or the MCA Nashville article is whether they actually worked mostly with the Nashville division of either Decca or MCA Records. Brenda Lee worked early on with Owen Bradley at Decca Nashville so she is included here. On the other hand Australian artist Olivia Newton-John seldom recorded in Nashville (save for two albums recorded in 1976 and 1998) so she is listed in the main MCA Records list.

Why is artists' list tagged?

[edit]

I think the reason the artists' list is tagged is because of some of the artists listed don't have Wikipedia articles which obviously mention their association with MCA Nashville. Would removal of artists without articles allow for removal of the tag? Steelbeard1 11:14, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the list by removing artists without Wikipedia articles. Steelbeard1 19:14, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
