Combat Use
[edit]1. As far as I am aware, it was only in Italy that divisions had such a pool of 4.2" Mortars. I have amended article to reflect this position.
2. 4.2" Mortars did reach units in Burma - see http://nigelef.tripod.com/otherfp.htm#Mortars
3. I didn't think that RA Light Btys had mortars; if they did, it was a very short time as by the korean war, the mortars were used by royal artillery Mortar Btys - e.g. 170 independent mortar bty ra at the Imjin - http://www.glosters.org/citation.htmGlevum (talk) 01:33, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
Oh, Canada
[edit]This page says a 4.2" was used, & this weapon is the likely one, but this page doesn't mention it. Is this it? Or was there another? TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 19:56, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
