"Talk: Magican",we wrote an article named "Magican" on wikipedia 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was deleted since no reliable third resource offered. On December 22nd 2011, a famous french magazine "Vous et Votre Mac" reported about Magican in detail on its #74 version. Before reediting Magican. Please kindly confirm with us if it is reliable to be resource provider? Please check its website: http://www.vvmac.com/ and turn to the 22nd and there is the report of Magican. thanks

1) Please sign your posts. 2) The best place to ask about things such as this would be Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard 3) Even if this source is determined to be reliable, that may or may not be sufficient to establish WP:Notability, for that you could post here Wikipedia:Notability/Noticeboard (I would do this after the reliability of the source is determined) Gaijin42 (talk) 01:38, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My personal opinion is that the source is reliable, and certainly is coverage enough to count towards notability, but a single source may be insufficient. I would perhaps go directly to step 3) in my previous post to get a larger consensus on if the application is sufficiently notable. Gaijin42 (talk) 01:41, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. By the way, please tell me at least how much reliable resource we should provide? Emmadesa —Preceding undated comment added 02:43, 27 December 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Typically 3 such resources are considered enough, but sometimes it can take more, sometimes it can take less depending on the source, and the amount of coverage. Again, my opinion, but the source you just provided is quite good, and 1 or 2 similar articles might be sufficient. But to be clear, I am only one opinion, and a broad consensus must be reached. Thanks so much for your reply. I submitted my question about an another other reliable source on [[Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard] as your request, but no feedback i have got there. So sorry to ask this again here in my talk. Please inform me if this website http://www.lifehacker.jp/2011/12/111225magician.html could be a reliable resource for article Magican? It is a Japanese website. Thanks again.Emmadesa

I think that will likely be considered a blog, and not a reliable source. If the article survives, it can probably be used for some non controversial information sourcing, but cannot be used to establish notability. Again, only my opionion Gaijin42 (talk) 19:23, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
