I will get around to editing this article, specifically by reviewing this new article: http://www.if-pan.krakow.pl/pjp/pdf/2013/3_547.pdf Georgeeby (talk) 23:52, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Go for it! Review articles are more reliable sources than individual studies, per WP:MEDRS. See also Eby, George A. (April 2010). 2018 meta-analysis suggests that there is no evidence of benefit thus far

[edit]

This BJP meta-analysis says that there's no evidence that Mg supplementation provides benefit in depression --CopperKettle 10:46, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

magnesium level

[edit]

So, as I look at best case nutrition and see that magnesium is helpful for many bodily functions and depression, I also have just seen that too much can cause similar issues as too little. And, I saw that a main version of supplements, Mg oxide, actually is not so readily absorbed. All 5 of our neurotransmitter brain chemicals require Mg, yet many of us are are lucky to get over 30% in our diets. 75.47.64.5 (talk) 14:54, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
