Mahakali is our Kuldevi and we visit the temple in a year or two. Earlier the temple was in very old form, however recently (4-5 Yrs back) the trust has renovated it keeping the old wooden structure intact. It is a wonderful experience when you enter the main area of the temple (Gabhara), you can literally feel the positive energy. The Mahakli is Daskshin Mukhi (Facing towards South) which belive to be a very rare. The Temple area is a panchayatan with Mahakali, Mahasaraswati, Mahalaxmi, Rawalnath and Nagreshwar shiva with additional temples of lord Rama and Hanuman behind. The trust has Yatri Niwas nearby the temple for the devotees visitng the temple. It is belived that if you visit the temple on Friday, mahakali will fulfil all your wishes.I have gone through some of the books available regarding the said temple and i was amezed to know that Shivaji Mararaj, Ramdas Swami and various other personalities visited this temple.
