University of Michigan Astronomy 533 grad class edits[edit]

Just giving a notice, as part of a class a few of us are currently working on a major edit to this site. It should go up in mid-December, so any edits between now and then may be overwritten at that time. Please contact us if you want to be certain something is included or have your own edits that you wanted to put in, to make sure they are accounted for. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Galaxy1F10 (talkcontribs) 17:50, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there Galaxy1F10 and thanks for leaving a note. I notice you have a sandbox set up where you are making changes to the article, which is great. Just a minor request: when you are ready to include the changes into the article please do it by bits and explaining the reasoning behind each one to the extent of possible. That way other editors can follow your changes more easily than if you just make an enormous change to the entire article at once. Feel free to contact me or leave a note at the WikiProject Astronomy talk page if you need assistance with something or if you have any questions. Regards. "Historical Alternatives"[edit]

So, uhm, if the thing I usually mean when I say Malmquist Bias is not being called Malmquist Bias anymore (and it certainly has more recently than 2000), what is it being called these days? 2601:98A:4400:587:786A:2A4A:C41E:F43C (talk) 11:43, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
