Should Robert Swartz have a bio page?

[edit]

Robert Swartz is currently tagged with a red link. I don't believe he should have a bio page. Please give your thoughts, if there is a strong nay, I will removed the red links. If there is a strong yay, someone should write one : )Caitlin.swartz (talk) 12:30, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have thought about this, since he has a history of tech stuff and the fact that he is notable for promoting Aaron to go into the tech field. Some news has circulated recently that he has been in a start-up about 3D printing which had raised 6.4 million USD and fairly recently, it was discovered that Robert Swartz is suffering from renal failure in the kidney so giving awareness of Aaron's father is good in any way. https://twitter.com/beadmomsw/status/1738013798701609066 Fluddsskark (talk) 12:06, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

'809 patent lawsuit

[edit]

The article claims that MWC won a lawsuit on what I presume is US 4956809 . According to Item 3 in Sun's 1996 10-K, Sun were sued over "the XDR component of NFS" (really meaning "the XDR component of ONC RPC") by a company that had bought the '809 patent from MWC. Are there any references for the outcome of that suit, or about any other lawsuits for the '809 patent? Guy Harris (talk) 04:03, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
