just to say last week when i looked at this it says '16 number ones' which is unspecific and not really true, i guess whoever wrote this put together how many number ones he got in the country chart but 'number one' in general terms either means the uk charts or the billboard 100 or 200 oxoxoxoxox 212.32.105.11 (talk) 16:57, 26 July 2009 (UTC)danny[reply]

Number 1 Cowboy - 1980[edit]

Is my tape collection misrepresenting, or are you missing a vinyl record, 1980, titled "Number 1 Cowboy? Admittedly, it's not the original, it's an old copy a trader included in a box of r-to-r tapes. Researching it, and I don't find an album of that title in this discography. It has 20 bands, cut 1 "El Paso", cut 9 "The Fastest Gun Around", cur 20 "Old Red. El Paso short version[edit]

On the single release for radio one side had a short edit that left out the part about New Mexico. In case radio didn't want to play a long version. Can anyone identify that single to help find it? George Slivinsky (talk) 23:30, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What album was re-released on LP, Cassette, 8-Track, and CD?[edit]

I remember a Marty Robbins album promoted on TV some time after his death, using the same commercial that was used for it before he died, with the end replaced to add the option for audio CD.
