Cause of deaths[edit]
I've removed the reference to the Department of Conservation 'stating' that the fish died of starvation, as this is not the case. A newspaper reported a member of the public saying that a DOC staff member had speculated this was what happened. This may well turn out to be true, but at this point we don't know, and DOC is referring queries to the Ministery of Fisheries for investigation. Chris Pitt (talk) 01:44, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
