Course origins[edit]

This comment, recently added to the article (However, many of these emerging degree programs are more than just an outgrowth of Emergency Management. The aforementioned CHDS database lists several such offerings that have emerged from within Public Administration and Criminal Justice degree programs.) is in my view dangerously close to Original research in that it is drawing a conclusion by summerizing a primary source. It would be much better to find a published reliable source which explicitly says this, and cite it, if at all possible. Wikipedia is often quite picky about this sort of thing, for good reason.
