would be nice to have a table with the diff configurations of current popular usage, eg, if you're running with 192 GB you'd typically buy quad rank. (totally made that up btw)

Older terminology[edit]

I think this hould be in the article: until about 10 years ago, that what is now called a rank was also called a bank, but then the term rank was invented to distinguish it from what is still known as a bank. --MrBurns (talk) 15:47, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
