@EChewning: Unfortunately those references are all from one primary source. Please see WP:BASIC for the requirements to show notability. The other people you mention may be notable for other reasons beyond holding this post, or have made notable contributions while in it. It may just be WP:TOOSOON. The fact that we don't have an article for the position Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East suggests that the role may not be particularly notable in itself.Derek Andrews (talk) 01:12, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article Length[edit]

This article length is 92k and way to long IMO. According to WP:LENGTH, anything over "60kB Probably should be divided" and over 100KB should be divided or broken up. I am proposing that we shorten and remove things like quotations and summarize. Some sections could be entirely eliminated. For example the section about Caesar_sanctions... this is not really about him, but contains a quote from him. I am not sure if having every single detail of someone's job or what they said is important, but rather if it is important, then maybe it should have its own page or of there is already a page for it, Mulroy's comments could be added to those pages.
