Renaming[edit]

Should be renamed as Military of the Canary Islands. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.218.218.109 (talk) 14:22, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Canary Islands are not an independent country & do not have independent armed forces as name sugests. I belive the curent name will create confusion on non familiarized with topic readers.--Elloza (talk) 07:18, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Should be renamed as 'Spanish armed forces in Canary Islands.' Buckshot06 (talk) 00:26, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Militar category[edit]

Is this change correct? [1] I thought it would be more adequate to use either Category:Military_of_Spain or Spain. Since Canary Islands is not a country by itself, I'm not sure of how it's useful to use it as a keysort on a list of militaries by country, independently of any disputes about nationality. --Enric Naval (talk) 14:10, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Needs explation[edit]

Article makes no sence; major facts are mising leaving the article without sence of beeing. --Elloza (talk) 07:25, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rename[edit]

Does anyone object to this article being renamed to something like 'Spanish armed forces in the Canary Islands?' Wording ideas helpful, but there are definitely no independent, separate armed forces. Buckshot06 (talk) 00:26, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
