@Ratherbe2000: I'm not sure if a standalone article in main space for Miz Cracker is appropriate yet, but I'm starting a draft here to move over later, if you'd like to help out. ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:57, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Real name
Probably not the best source to use to confirm her legal name, but maybe okay if no others: [1]. Armadillopteryxtalk 17:38, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- I think the IMDb link should be added to an External links section, but I've added this article to verify real name. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:20, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, the NY Times link is definitely better for this purpose. There's nothing listed besides Drag Race on the IMDb page, so I'm not sure it's even worth adding to the external links at this point. Armadillopteryxtalk 19:23, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- I don't feel strongly, but I'm ok adding the IMDb link whenever possible, and surely the site will be updated with future Miz Cracker projects. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:28, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- Fair enough -- it certainly doesn't hurt anything. Armadillopteryxtalk 19:29, 13 May 2018 (UTC)

Works
@Armadillopteryx: I noticed you added an article written by Miz Cracker. We can't use her writings has sources, but I did post a list of article she wrote at Talk:Miz Cracker a while back. Not sure if we should add these to the article as "Works" or not, but these should not be used as inline citations since they're not independent of the subject. Sharing link just you can you're interested. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:23, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for sharing the list! I wasn't aware of it before. Also I definitely agree we should try to steer clear of primary sources in inline citations, though per WP:PRIMARYCARE,
[a] person's autobiography, own website, or a page about the person on an employer's or publisher's website, is an acceptable (although possibly incomplete) primary source for information about what the person says about himself or herself. Such primary sources can normally be used for non-controversial facts about the person and for clearly attributed controversial statements.
If using those articles to cite anything, I was thinking for things as basic as "She visited Senegal twice" and "She speaks French and Wolof" -- nothing beyond dry facts. But maybe we'll find something secondary for those facts anyway. Armadillopteryxtalk 18:38, 13 May 2018 (UTC)- My thinking is that, when invoking WP:PRIMARYCARE to cite small descriptive facts like these, it's better to use an article by her in a well known publication than it is to use a Tweet, though I think that in practice they're subject to the same rules. Armadillopteryxtalk 19:37, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- Maybe both? Seems to me multiple primary confirmations is good for verifying specific claims. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:38, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- I agree with that -- but do you still not want to use the articles? Armadillopteryxtalk 19:39, 13 May 2018 (UTC)

To add
Non-Drag Race-related interview with her: http://werrrk.com/11857-2/#
She used to teach English to Senegalese students, and in exchange they helped her learn Wolof.[1] She also speaks French.[2]
(As shared by Armadillopteryx.) Moving here to serve as a reminder. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:26, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
References
I don't think we should add Senegal/Wolof unless secondary coverage can confirm. Anyone can say anything on Twitter... ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:56, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- I agree, which is why I linked her Slate pieces to source this info instead :-) Both are fine per WP:PRIMARYCARE since again they're used only to source straightforward, noncontroversial info about the subject herself. I don't see much of a practical difference between citing a fact she states in her own writing vs. in an interview typed up by someone else ... Armadillopteryxtalk 23:28, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- Also just want to make it clear that I don't feel strongly about whether or not this info is included. I just thought it could be helpful to link some sources I know of, as I'm a bit too busy in real life atm to contribute much in the way of writing. This information won't make or break the article by any means, but if you feel like including it and can't find a secondary source, you can at your discretion use the sources I linked per WP:PRIMARYCARE. Armadillopteryxtalk 23:41, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
Seattle, or Washington?
I remember in one episode she described growing up poor in or near Seattle, with her single mother and sister. Hopefully we can find secondary coverage to confirm, and add an "Early life and education" section. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:31, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- This article mentions growing up poor, but is incorrect in referring to Miz Cracker as being in her 50s... ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:40, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Pronouns
We should probably be consistent throughout re: he/him vs. she/her. Not sure if there's secondary coverage re: his identities and preferences re: gender and sexual orientation, but I'll be on the lookout. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:34, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
Birth date and age
@Ratherbe2000: Where did you find confirmation of her birth day and age? If not from a reliable source, this should be removed. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:42, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- It was from this tweet Cracker posted on his birthday - https://twitter.com/miz_cracker/status/986899034865532928?lang=en He was 33 when he did the show last year, so 34 now.
- Thanks. I added this as inline citation to inbox.
Might need to note birth date in opening sentence of introduction as well.---Another Believer (Talk) 19:55, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks. I added this as inline citation to inbox.

Draft
@Ratherbe2000: Aw, I wish we could have moved Draft:Miz Cracker into the main space first, but, this is the problem with having the draft space sometimes. Feel free to to pull from the draft if there's anything worth adding. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:15, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: I have history-merged Draft:Miz Cracker to Miz Cracker. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 20:46, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Anthony Appleyard: Thank you. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:44, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
Problem with infobox picture
Hello all.
I don't know if I'm the only one, but I'm seeing the infobox picture in a weird way, like it's cropped and stretched in the vertical direction. I tried to track changes in the edits to see where the problem was and fix it, but I couldn't find it. It happens both in Firefox and Chromium, running on a Linux system. IS there anybody else who has a problem with the picture? Any help to fix it?Not A Superhero (talk) 03:33, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
- It seems like it lost the "File" prefix at some point. It looked weird for me, too, but I think it's fixed now. Look okay to you? Armadillopteryxtalk 03:39, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, thanks a lot. Not A Superhero (talk) 03:43, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
