Very little evidence that this name is accepted[edit]
GBIF at https://www.gbif.org/species/175235112 lists four species for Monoloxis. They do not include Monoloxis flavicinctalis
Mindat at https://www.mindat.org/taxon-1876260.html lists four species and M. flavicinctalis is not included.
Insects (Insecta) of the World at http://insecta.pro/taxonomy/36601 has an entry for M. flavicinctalis and here it does appear to be the accepted species name. Insects of the world takes its information from funet which is more informative with respect to the generic name change to Monoloxis. MargaretRDonald (talk) 09:26, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

Phalaena flavicinctalis, Abaera flavicinctalis are synonyms given by Insects of the World: Monoloxis flavicinctalis I can find no source for Amblyura flaviscida as synonym (and no source is given on the page). MargaretRDonald (talk) 09:38, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
