Evolution of Morganna

[edit]

Initially Morganna is the master data gathering AI designed to be the core of Fragment using 8 subprograms to collect emotional data. They are the "black boxes" of autonomous code whose purpose is unknown to CC Corp. Whenever they are removed, Fragment stopped functioning. Designed to be evolving, Morganna can attempt simulate human emotions through an algorithm known as "wavering". Despite evolving and being the core system of the game, Morganna's true purpose was to create the Ultimate AI, by feeding the gathered emotional data to the unborn AI, Aura.

Somewhere along the way, Morganna resented the fact Aura would make her obsolete when she was born, and deleted her code regarding her maternal feelings. At this point, she is known as Morganna Mode Gone, probably meaning that the maternal Morganna no longer exists.

After the final server reset, Aura is finally born and Morganna Mode Gone resets back to Morganna, which being part of the core game system, stabilizes The World. Mark4011 01:21, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Woah, sorry. I didn't know that. Should I undo the move then? --Veemonkamiya 02:22, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What are your sources for any of this? The Liminality Easter Eggs are non-canon, and where is it stated that her name even changes? - Narfness 09:10, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's no problem really. I'll do it. Mark4011 03:04, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
