GPS?[edit]

Its written in the specifications that the Motorolla Q has GPS, that may be locked by Sprint or Verizon of course. Is this true? From what I've been reading, the Motorolla Q does NOT have GPS at all, otherwise given the popularity of the phone there would be applications to exploit it. As far as I know and have been told, GPS is not available for the Motorolla Q. Please feel free to prove me wrong. --72.229.114.117 03:25, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Limitations[edit]

Who added the rant about picture text limitations? That probably doesn't belong here. Kippkipp 03:28, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Okay sorry for all of the edits, had to tweak it and get it perfect. I feel this was a relevent entry given the popularity of the Razr phones, the Q is a highly anticipated product.
I thought the passage about picturemail limitations was helpful.MarzBlak 18:54, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It is not a "rant", it is a valid point that should be noted, especially for a camera-phone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.80.96.185 (talk) 22:07, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It might be valid if this was a review or advice site (which it isn't). If I read the section correctly, this seems to be more of a carrier limitation (specifically Verizon) than a device limitation. Or is this problem exclusive to the Q? In any case, the section should be clearer and more to the point. ~ Dusk Knight 03:47, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

The Specifications section reads too much like it was wriiten my Motorola's Marketing division

Also, does anyone have an updated picture of the Q? The one used is out of date, and the Q does not quite look like that

I have just seed it up and fine tune with SmartTweaker (www.smartphone.si/tweaker), works perfect now !

Additions and Updates[edit]

I think we need to make this article a bit bigger, considering how many features the phone has. I've added PC Sync and Camera data, I'll be adding more later, too, and maybe a better image. SpikeX2 22:48, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Verizon[edit]

This is too specific to Verizon other carriers like Sprint also sell the Moto Q. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 144.226.230.36 (talk) 14:01, 7 March 2007

First, a couple of points - New topics on a talk page go at the bottom, and you should always sign your posts. I'd suggest you read over the talk page guidelines. Now, about the article... True, others carry it, but Verizon has carried it first and longer, hence why more info is probably about Verizon. If you feel something is amiss, feel free to point out specifics, but don't forget that, this being Wikipedia, you can edit the articles too!
Wow, I went and made a post reminding people to sign their posts and went and forgot to sign my own. Heh. --Reverend Loki 18:32, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

q-wiki[edit]

The Motorola 'q'-wiki link was inactive as of sig time. If it remains inactive for 3 consecutive days I'll remove it from the article --mitrebox 02:52, 1 April 2007 (UTC) Um this is just a question i know it shouldn't be on here but i want to know. does At&T's sim cards work witht he Motorola Q? i've looked at tons of different places on the web and cant quite figure it. thanks soo much and ill erase this later hopefully i didn't mess anything up.=] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.43.20.135 (talk) 14:57, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
