First hot-swappable Motorola GSM phone?

[edit]

This is the first hot-swappable Motorola GSM phone. Prior to this product (V360 / Malta), none of the Motorola GSM phones which supported memory cards had explicit support for handling when the memory card was inserted or removed at run-time. In previous products which supported such cards, the memory card was located behind the battery, requiring the user to remove the battery (and hence turn off the phone) in order to physically access it. --Slordak 20:42, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
