Not Magpie!

[edit]

"Murkrow's thieving nature and it being an omen of bad luck are traits also shared by a real world bird, the magpie."

It is the crow that is seen of as an 'omen of bad luck', not the magpie. I would add that collecting colourfull objects is a trait of a real world bird the bowerbird. 124.184.25.217 13:34, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Controversial?

[edit]

Why is this in the "controversial pokemon" list? The article makes no reference to controversy. I hope this is added or it is removed from the list.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Magacid (talkcontribs) 20:32, 28 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Um, right in the intro section it says “Because of Murkrow's Dark-type, witch-like appearance and sinister personality, it is one of the Pokémon that are characterized as outright "evil" and "demonic" by critics of the Pokémon franchise, who claim that Pokémon can lead children into Witchcraft and Satanism.”. --WikidSmaht (talk) 20:55, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
