Notation?

[edit]

There is no mention in the article of music notation software, which has revolutionized both the music publication business, and home music composition. Encore; Sibelius' Finale; etc. These need to be covered somewhere. Most of these notation programs also include some form of midi sequencer and midi voicing control, which makes it possible to notate music from a midi input device and then hear the result.

Leaving out music notation software is like having an article on business software and not mentioning spreadsheets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.95.43.249 (talk) 23:22, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Details of royalties are unknown.
