Propose merging into Hazmat suit
[edit]I have proposed that this article be merged into the Hazmat suit article. Both cover much the same material, but the term "HazMat" suite is a bit broader, as well as older, than the term "NBC suit". Pzavon 02:07, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

- Good idea to merge the two. However, NBC suits may not offer the same type of protection than a standard hazmat suit, given that the NBC suit is designed more in combat situations in mind, maintaining the mobility of the soldiers without breach of suit integrity, and to cover a wider range of chemicals than a hazmat suit.... so maybe this should be captured Manu 21:25, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- Certainly an NBC suit is not identical with the conventional HazMat suit, in part because of the expectation of use in a combat environment. Nevertheless it is a variation of the HazMat suit concept. I agree that the differences should be addressed in the article. I am confident there are also other variations that should be addressed.
