Conspiracy theories
.
Is there a way to dispel the increase in ludicrous conspiracy theories regarding the Rothschild bank & family that pervade the internet? What does the bank actually have ownership of? And does the bank publicly state what it has major shares and ownership in? And what has the bank done to dispel and counter these ludicrous theories? Some examples include: Rothschild's own the American Federal Reserve. True or false? Rothschild's are the main lender to the Bank of England. True or False? In an age where cynical people are looking for scapegoats to blame, Rothschild & Sons need to be more open about what they have their hands in to counter possible destructive claims that might play in to the hands of misguided people and anti-semites. Can someone possibly who has the knowledge, start up a new page on Wikipedia to go through the Rothschild conspiracy theories and debunk them once and for all?
- Sorry, you can't debunk the truth... The Rothschild family isn't the main lender to the Bank of England; the Rothschild family have owned & controlled the BoE since 1815 when Nathan Rothschild caused a run on the LSE and ended up buying the British Empire for pennies. You could try researching the supposed "nationalisation" of the BoE which transferred ownership to the Treasury - but gave the unnamed shareholders shares in the Treasury to pay for their shares in the BoE. So effectively, because the UK national debt (to the BoE, of course) is so great, the owners of the BoE actually own the Treasury. :-D Owndership of the BoE will be returned to the Treasury (and therefore theoretically the British people) when the National Debt is paid off; that will never ever happen.
- Plus, the Rothschild family DO own & control the Federal Reserve by their control of a majority of the Fed district banks. Instead of relying on Shitipedia to educate you, why not try doing some real research all of your own? Read some books, for instance; try the immensely readable Creature Of Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin as a good start; you could also try watching the freely available documentary The Money Masters. Or, go to Mises.org, the school of Austrian Economics and do some reading.
- Why do you call things you know nothing about "ludicrous theories"? You have admitted you know nothing about the subject and yet your attitude suggests that your mind is closed to the truth before you even hear it. Sorry, this IS the truth - the fact that you are ignorant of it does not make it less so. :-) It has been estimated by Austrian economists that the Rothschild family owns and/or controls wealth to the tune of between $100,000 and $500,000 TRILLION. It is established historical fact that the Rothschilds were billionaires in the mid-1800s - it was estimated even then that they controlled at least half of the world's wealth. You see, when you understand the fundamental point about how money is created (basically out of thin air by privately-owned Central Banks), you soon realise that they can create any amount they want, when they want, to buy anything and anyone they want.
- "Who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls energy can control whole continents; who controls money controls the world." - Henry Kissinger.
- "Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money, and with the flick of a pen they will create enough money to buy it back again. However, take away from them the power to create money, and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear, and they OUGHT to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money." - Sir Josiah Stamp, former Director of the Bank of England.
- "We are grateful to the Washington Post, the NY Times, Time Magazine, and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But now the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards world government. The supra national sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries." - David Rockefeller.
Look, I could go on here and tell you off for insulting the asker for his question and claiming Wikipedia (or as you say "Shitipedia") holds no value. Then I could point out that it is impossible for anyone to possess $500,000 Trillion (aka $500 Quadrillion) given that the World's GDP is just $60.7 Trillion and the US's gargantuan national debt that continues to spiral out of control is variously estimated at $11 Trillion. I could go on to debate all of your imbecilic points, but it be easier to just say you're an idiot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.48.10.6 (talk) 22:17, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Here's some rothschild quotes:
"Let me issue and control a nation's money and I care not who writes the laws." Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1744-1812), founder of the House of Rothschild.
"The few who understand the system will either be so interested in its profits or be so dependent upon its favours that there will be no opposition from that class, while on the other hand, the great body of people, mentally incapable of comprehending the tremendous advantage that capital derives from the system, will bear its burdens without complaint, and perhaps without even suspecting that the system is inimical to their interests." The Rothschild brothers of London writing to associates in New York, 1863.
"If my sons did not want wars, there would be none." ~ Gutle Schnaper, Mayer Amschel Rothschilds wife —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.120.65.129 (talk) 02:52, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Can we have a list of daughter companies of N M Rothschild & Sons?
Any leads?--20-dude (talk) 22:37, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
Since this conspiracy theory hasn't been debunked, but instead appears to have some truth, it should have a section in the article.109.150.122.239 (talk) 22:30, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
I admit that I came to this page to find out about the conspiracy theories. I don't know what they are. I don't know whether any of them are true. I expect not. But really... This is one of the 10 largest investment banks in the world, and there's almost no mention in the article of whatever impact the bank has on society, culture, policy making, or even finance? I've come to expect that every Wikipedia article contains a "criticism" segment. Heck, I'm not even asking for criticism. I just want enough information so I can tell whether my sister's gone nuts next time she starts talking about the bank. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.48.32.12 (talk) 20:24, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
