Title Choice

[edit]

O.K. so Nanno in this case is an animal, it is also a Genus, i.e. Genus Nanno. The move from Genus Nanno to Nanno (animal) seems unnecessary and trivial. But, oh well. The problem may have been a misunderstanding of taxonomic expression wherein the taxonomic rank (may) precede the name.

The name Nanno by itself gets one to a page on a town in Italy, so some modification is necessary to arrive at this page on the cephalopod genus. (Animal) as an attachment seems overly general, even if factual. Changing to (cephalopod) or (nautiloid) would make it more specific. Since Nanno in this case is a genus, Nanno (genus) might be the best choice, especially if the article is mainly about the genus. On the other hand if it's mainly about general with nanno-type siphuncles maybe (nautiloid) or (endocerid) would work better. J.H.McDonnell (talk) 18:41, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
