Talk:Neo-Nazi groups of the United States
Title
[edit]Since the page is new, might not the title Neo-Nazi groups in the United States be better than of the United States? Tfine80 03:58, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Protest Warrior
[edit]That's ridiculous to even imply backhandedly that Protest Warrior is a Neo-Nazi group. Tfine80 01:01, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Ultraconservative thugs, yes, neonazis, no. Should not be listed on this page.--Cberlet 01:16, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)
How are they thugs? They simply go to rallys of opposing viewpoints and interview the people protesting. You'll notice the only time violence is ever used, it's by the "peace activists" at the rallys to attack the protest warriors. That's the whole point. They expose the hyprocrisy of the left by videotaping them. You've obviously never even watched a video of theirs, or your definition of thug does not match that of most English speakers and the dictionary. (I didn't know that exposing a political viewpoint by videotaping those spouting that viewpoint belonged solely to the ultraconservatives. Zombietime does the same thing, but instead photographs those same "peaceful" protests - is he/she a thug too? THUG: A person who treats others violently and roughly, especially for hire: hoodlum, ruffian, tough. Informal hooligan. Slang goon, gorilla, hood. See attack/defend, crimes. PROTEST WARRIORS: Exposing the hypocrisy of THUGS.
Websites
[edit]There are a number of websites that I wouldn't call "organizations", but which are nonetheless significant. Stormfront and Bill White's Overthrow.com are examples. Should we list some of them? -Willmcw 01:46, Jun 27, 2005 (UTC)
At a CCC convention between 1995 and 2002 attendees/members present included:
Don Black creator of stormfront.org
Mark Cotterill BNP
Carl Clifford AFBNP former US Army techie. Now contractor teckie develops battlefield medical tech.
Jeff Anderson? runs seperatist.org
Annanomous member who's father was (at the time?) the state Majority Leader of the Senante, Mr X had been a White house Press officer, he also had been thrown out of DC's Univeristy Club for bringing his friend Dr. William Pierce there Mr. X sued the club for 6 million for doing that. Also friend of Willis Carto (kind of), has locker next to Pat Buchanan at a gentlemen's club.
Edward "Fisheye" Cassidy
Multiple Baptist Ministers
Steve Barry, Former Special Forces sergeant & millitary Advisor to Dr. William Pierce. Now runs own magazine for other S.F. guys with similar beliefs.
Gayle Witney a Professor of Psychology at Florida State University anti-gun control, conspiracy theorist and anti-semite.
Peter Gemma, political lobbyist "moderate extremist" former GOP Campaign Manager and fundraiser defected with Buchanan from GOP to Reform Party.
Sam Francis former columnist for the Washington times and friend of Buchanan.
my info comes from the book "into a world of hate"
- I commend your research and think it definitely belongs in the CCC article. However, I think all of the groups listed on this page have very explicit support for Hitler and the former Nazi Party. While there may be members of this group sympathetic to certain Nazi ideas, you could say the same for dozens of other groups not listed on this page. We have other pages for hate groups with dozens and dozens of organizations and the CCC is categorized on both the White Supremacist and Hate groups articles. Tfine80 00:59, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
National Independents Movement
[edit]I don't know all of the details of the VfD on this group, but I think you need to rewrite that article or reestablish its importance somehow before it should be listed here. Best, Tfine80 05:58, 24 September 2005 (UTC)
3rd Paragraph: Remove or Make Coherent
[edit]The third paragraph is illogical and incoherent. Most of it is devoted to saying U.S. has largest number of neo-Nazis of any nation, but the (undocumented) figures given in first sentence are virtually meaningless and cannot support this (20,000 to half million, and figures are given as applied to both neo-Nazis and "right-wing extremists").
NSWPP?
[edit]I noticed that this article does not mention the National Socialist White People's Party. I just saw a documentary on them, The California Reich. Might be worth looking into: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0072757/ 16:17, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
took out POV commentary on moral equivalence/ also Unsourced
[edit]removed: It is important to distinguish between genuine neo-Nazis and the less extreme white nationalists. Groups affiliated with Christian Identity and the Creativity Movement are more extreme than groups such as the KKK or American Renaissance.
What kind of wording or POV is that. That is moral or personal equivalence. Plus there is absolutely no sourcing! therefore removed. sounds like the KKK is trying to make itself sound like the lesser of two evils. Or something has it out for Christian groups, stating they are worse than non-religious based nazi groups. -unsigned
Redirected to Neo-Nazism
[edit]After looking it over, I just redirected the whole page to Neo-Nazism, because it just duplicated topics that are in that article. There wasn't a single reference in the entire Neo-Nazi groups of the United States article anyway, so it's difficult to justify keeping it as a Wikipedia article. Spylab 12:15, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
