Cast notes[edit]

Cast notes:

Mary Martin is best known for her stage appearances, especially in South Pacific, Peter Pan and The Sound of Music,[3] but she also appeared in nine films in her acting career, all between 1938 and 1943.[4] Eva Gabor appears in the film, in an uncredited role, only her second film appearance.[5] Regis Toomey, who at one time had been a billed star in the movies, appears uncredited as "Jim Martin"[6] Ken Carpenter, who played the Master of Ceremonies in a quiz show scene, was a radio announcer for the Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy radio program as well as the Kraft Music Hall radio show. The quiz show was modeled after $64 Question, also known as Take It or Leave It, a contemporary radio quiz show.[7]

This is all not relevant to the film's article and should be deleted. It might be appropriate for their own articles, but for New York Town, this is crap.Moviefan (talk) 07:02, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On the contrary, it's relevant to who the cast is, and it's interesting, and it should stay in. Ed Fitzgerald t / c 22:02, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No! This is not something for wikipedia. If you think it's interesting, that's fine, but that doesn't make it suitable for wikipedia. Look at other movie articles. They don't include mini bios of casts. To the film, it just isn't relevant. I mean, the film was released in 1941, so you might as well include the complete history of what happened in 1941 if you're going to think that way. Djeez. Victoria?[edit]

The name Vitoria is used without introduction. From the context, it appears to be a typo for Victor. How-ever, since I don't know the film, I'm not going to be bold.Kdammers (talk) 05:13, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
