not only a South American variety

Nicotiana rustica is also native to North America, although this article treats it as native only to South America. It is my understanding that Nicotiana tabacum is more well-known on the North American continent mainly due to tobacco companys' interest in cultivation of the variety. More research needs to be done on this subject, and the article needs to be edited. Thank you! Feiona16 16:56, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Nelson's Horsenettle in the infobox title? doesn't say that anywhere in the article... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.200.182.186 (talk) 10:57, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Mapacho is not necessarily just tobaco but a log or "maso" which may also include marination in various flower waters and sometimes aguardiente. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.106.122.194 (talk) 00:51, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Prices?

1, it does not seem really encyclopedical to provide consumer prices. 2, what on earth is the use of giving these prices without either specifying the date when this price was actual, or giving at the same time the price of a common item for comparison? (prices tend to change with inflation, the rate of which varies a lot between different countries and different years - a price given without the date and/or another common items price for comparison (see: big mac index) lacks any informational value. should be deleted from the article. 79.131.133.232 (talk) 15:56, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
