I apologise for causing some upset with my article on the non-pneumatic anti-shock garment. I am working very hard to follow all of the guidelines. I would like it to be known however, that the external link to http://www.lifewraps.org is a web site we created which contains additional information about the garment in a non-promotional way. We are a University research group and are not selling or promoting a product, we are just trying to increase awareness of it. The name non-pneumatic anti-shock garment is the generic term for this type of medical appliance and has little about it that is lay-friendly. The name LifeWrap is simply another name for the garment that is used for the specific aim of reducing maternal mortalities from obstetric hemorrhage and is a name that non-medical people can use and remember with ease. I first tried to add the page as 'LifeWrap' rather than 'non-pneumatic anti-shock garment' but that was removed. We changed the name to the medical term and removed reference to the LifeWrap and it was accepted. It would be great if the title could contain both names - would that be acceptable? Also, the only reason for my repeated attempts to add the link was because I am new to wiki codes and kept on formatting it incorrectly for which I apologise again.

I appreciate your advice and thank you for your kidn words about the article Jessica.L.Morris (talk) 00:22, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
