Depressed?

[edit]

The text in the "Notes" sections does not make much sense. It says that Asimov was so depressed on May 1941 that he stopped writing and only resumed writing in... May 1941! Either a date is wrong, or the comment is irrelevant. --ExperiencedArticleFixer (talk) 02:18, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • @ExperiencedArticleFixer: Looking at the source (link given in ref – you just need to sign in to Internet Archive to read the whole book) the Notes section is right, but I agree it could be worded better (and possibly expanded into a Development section). Would you like to take a stab at it? ‑‑YodinT 12:40, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No, if you confirm the dates, then the comment is irrelevant (that he was so down that he stopped writing for a few days). At most, what is notable might be that the story was being written during a failed examination for his PhD. --ExperiencedArticleFixer (talk) 15:06, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
