[edit]I will be editing and expanding on this article for AdGen (Bio 3595A) at UWO. I plan to add more information about the X-linked recessive mutations and diseases, inheritance patterns of carriers to offspring, probabilities of offspring being affected or being carriers, possibly information about the process of X inactivation in relation to carriers, and include pictures and diagrams that explain the text in a simple, visual context. I will also use examples of diseases such has Hemophilia A to better explain the model of this article, and maybe add an example like the Royal Family. I hope to turn this extremely "stubby" article into a descriptive and informative encyclopedia page that people can reference in their studies.
