Text written by an anti-romanian Jew in order to denigrate, and not including citations. Removed!

[edit]

Atention, Goga was a writer, one of the most important poets Romania has ever had. He is manly remembered for his literary works and not for his political activity which was of minor importance. You can write that he had fascist views but to dedicate 80% of the Wikipedia page about him to fascism is unfair and clearly written by a Jew full of hate directed toward Romanians. 90% of the leaders of Israel are/were Zionists (fascists) and all the Wikipedia pages about them are positive and do not contain negative things. If about Goga (a great poet) 80% of the information we read is negative then why not change all Wiki pages of the leaders of Israel and fill them with negative information?! "During World War I, he joined the Romanian army and took part as a soldier in the occupation of Dobrudja. In the interwar period he left the PNR to join General Alexandru Averescu's People's Party (PP), a populist movement created upon the war's end. Goga clashed with Averescu over the latter's conflict with King Carol II. A founder of the minor PP splinter group naming itself the National Agrarian Party, he led it into an alliance with A. C. Cuza's National-Christian Defense League, forming the National Christian Party. Goga became Prime Minister of Romania and served from 28 December 1937 to 10 February 1938. He had been appointed by King Carol, in his attempt to enforce his own personal dictatorship. During his short period in government, Goga was mostly known for the first anti-Semitic laws which were passed. On 12 January 1938 his government stripped Romanian Jews of their citizenship. Besides being an anti-Semite himself, Goga attempted to outflank the Iron Guard's popular support[clarification needed]. “ The Jewish problem is an old one here, and it is a Rumanian tragedy. Briefly, we have far too many Jews.[1]” “ For us there is only one final solution of the Jewish problem—the collection of all Jews into a region that is still uninhabited, and the foundation there of a Jewish nation. And the further way the better.[2]” The regime instituted by Goga and Cuza gave itself a paramilitary wing of Fascist character, the Lăncieri ("Lance-bearers"). They borrowed heavily from the Iron Guard, and started competing with it for public attention. Mainly, they were involved in violence against the Jews.[citation needed] After his resignation, Goga withdrew to his estate in Transylvania, where he suffered a stroke on 5 May 1938. He died two days later. His body lay in state in Bucharest's Palace Atheneum, with a floral tribute from Nazi Germany leader Adolf Hitler adorning the glass-topped casket.[citation needed]"— Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.83.160.80 (talkcontribs) 01:09, 10 May 2014

A more objective Wikipage about Goga is needed

[edit]

Here you find a Wikipedia page, about Octavian Goga, having accurate information about his literary activity (see, http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octavian_Goga ). Please translate it in English and make a real English page about Goga and replace the misery which masquerades now in the biography of Octavian Goga. Nobody says to write only positive things but please do dot pour there only dirt just because you hate Romanians. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.83.160.80 (talk) 03:41, 8 May 2014 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.83.160.80 (talkcontribs) 01:09, 10 May 2014

A dirty trick played on Wikipedia. If you want to denigrate somebody just write whatever you want about him and end your remarks with "citation needed"

[edit]

I have noticed that there is a strategy, applied by people with great editorial powers on Wikipedia. Somebody without citing any source fills the Wiki page of a personality with negative unverified information and the page stays like this for years, it is true full of "citation needed" but which is a remark nobody cares about. Because the information is false nobody can supply a suitable citation and in consequence the text can never be changed. Please delete everything thrown without citation!— Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.83.160.80 (talkcontribs) 01:09, 10 May 2014

Anti Romanian propaganda article titled "RUMANIA: Bloodsucker of the Villages" cited as a reliable source

[edit]

Text deleted - "The Jewish problem is an old one here, and it is a Rumanian tragedy. Briefly, we have far too many Jews" (source: http://content.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,759035,00.html ). It is quite clear from the title of the article that this is not an objective text and the author manifests hate against Romanians. There is simply no evidence Goga said what is attributed to him. Find please a public speech or an article signed by Octavian Goga in which he said what you claim he said.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.83.160.80 (talkcontribs) 01:09, 10 May 2014

The source is TIME magazine, a reliable journalistic publication. The term bloodsucker is used because at the time American audiences were ignorant about Romania except for Stoker's highly romanticized Dracula. Anyway, the words are Goga's own: do you dispute that he said it? Ibadibam (talk) 20:00, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
