Article title and episode lists

[edit]

This article goes by the English name Prince Mackaroo, but the article with the list of episodes is titled List of Ojarumaru episodes. Shouldn't these both use the same name? I have no preference, but google hits tends to suggest that the English name is more common (in English results of course).

Another issue is that the episode list contains a long list of episodes from seasons 1-6 and 16-17. The ones in the middle are blank. But then each of those seasons also has its own page, e.g. List of Ojarumaru episodes (series 1). These individual pages contain no further details than what is replicated in the main list. In this case, I do have an opinion, which is that the lists of separate seasons should be removed from the main list when they have their own article. Per WP:USEENGLISH, yes they should be the same. As for the lists wouldn't a mention in prose on the article's main-page be better than having all of these lists tied to one primary source? I like to use List of Tokyo Mew Mew episodes as an example of a great split off episode list, is the series has notability then lists are okay in my opinion. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 13:15, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Knowledgekid87, if there are no objections raised in the next couple of days I will move the "Ojarumaru"-titled articles later this week.
I don't follow your point about the lists though. Prince Mackaroo and Tokyo Mew Mew each have some prose under an "Anime" subsection, with a link to a "List of... episodes" article. So in that sense the format of the two articles is the same. The difference is that Tokyo Mew Mew list has about 50 episodes, whilst there are about 1500 episodes of Prince Mackaroo. Not all are currently listed, but they may be in the future. So assuming that the show is notable and a list is appropriate, I think breaking them off into separate articles for each series is better from a practical viewpoint. Or are you suggesting getting rid of the lists entrely?
Otakuman101, I see that you are the main contributor to the episode lists. Do you have an opinion on these matters? AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 01:05, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The episode list should just remain as it is. Don't get rid of the separate articles. The reason why I split up the seasons into separate articles is because the series has so many episodes that it would make editing the episode list a bit difficult due to there being so much text on the article. Plus, I remember back during the time before I made the separate articles, I was experiencing slow down on editing page most likely because of there being so much text on the article like I said in the last sentence.
