eye color?[edit]

Visual pigment redirecting here[edit]

Going by what it says here, ommochromes seem to be something a bit more specific than a visual pigment. For example I've been reading a chapter about visual pigments in fishes, but ommochromes only seem to occur in selected invertebrates. So is the redirect such a good idea - aren't visual pigments a broader category than this? Richard001 (talk) 07:54, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
