It's time for me to be a good nominator and actually review some articles. Tkbrett (✉) 16:18, 22 August 2022 (UTC)

Lead
[edit]- Young Thug teased an appearance ...: "teased" seems a little unencylcopedic. Consider rewording.
- Done by using indicated instead --K. Peake 07:43, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
Background
[edit]- The phrasing of the image caption is ambiguous, since "suggested he would appear on the song over Twitter" could imply he was going to rap via Twitter, whereas I think you mean to say he suggested over Twitter that he would appear on the song.
- ... received a text message about a package he made ... A package? Is this jargon with which I'm not familiar?
- Done by adding sample package per the source to clarify, meaning beat samples --K. Peake 07:43, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
Composition and lyrics
[edit]- The rapper uses his taxes paid to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as an excuse for the high prices of his merchandise and Yeezy sneakers, justifying them to feed his family and not have to appear on the TV series Dancing with the Stars. I don't understand what this sentence is saying after "justifying them ..." Could you please clarify?
- Done by re-wording the earlier part slightly and using "the prices" to clarify that these are what he justifies --K. Peake 07:43, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
References
[edit]- Ref [12] is a podcast called Kanye West News. Who runs it? I'm unclear initially on whether it is reliable.
- The source is the Watch the Throne podcast that regularly covers West, also if this is published on Amazon Music doesn't that indicate reliablity? --K. Peake 07:43, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- My understanding is that anyone can publish a podcast. That's at least how it works on Spotify or Apple Podcast, I'm not sure if Amazon Music is different. If not, I think that would make this a self-published source. Does Amazon have a higher standard for which podcasts are hosted on their service? Have Chris Lambert and Travis Bean been published in any reliable secondary sources?
- Tkbrett Honestly, I could not find any evidence of this so I have removed the source now, can the article pass? --K. Peake 07:22, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
- Chris Lambert used to write for Forbes and did this article on Brothers.
- And Travis Bean seems to write for Forbes. Nicenice23 (talk) 18:27, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
- Copyvio of 11 percent.
On hold K. Peake, comments above. Tkbrett (✉) 23:37, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
