Merge ?
[edit]Why not merge this article with E-accounting
Sanjiv swarup (talk) 08:37, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
This refers to accounting that is web-based. I distinguish from merely web-enabled. This article refers also to mobile-phone-based. Sanjiv swarup 08:06, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Online accounting as a concept is practical
[edit]Quicken Basic 2007 needs a Download. Tally and eDeskOnline does not. So Quicken will lose the race. Alternatively, Quicken will have to change. Sanjiv swarup (talk) 11:23, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
i agree with the above point.Quicken Basic 2007 is a older version software.for personal-finance management, Compare products, compare prices, read reviews, shopping quicken basic 2007 is best.but tally and e-desk online is more advantageous as it can be used for direct marketing and is advanced version having many uses other than this mentioned here.so most people would prefer tally and e-desk online.so as quicken will loss the race and hence it should be downloaded to a newer version.Anoopnair2050 (talk) 07:40, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

disadvantage
[edit]* can be attacked by viruses * the information can be changed by hackers,so it can not be acceptable accounting.
but i don't think it is unacceptable accounting
I suggest there is no greater risk of viruses than off-line software. There may be greater risk of data being changed by hackers but I don't agree that this means it's unacceptable accounting. Lnwright (talk) 01:01, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
