My wife is recovering from a severe case of OHSS, and I would like to comment to any doctors or medical students who read this. We were told to "go home, take it easy, drink lots of Gatorade and eat potato chips." And then, "If it gets worse, come in to the hospital emergency department." To future physicians who give this advise: PLEASE DEFINE "WORSE". It may be obvious to you, but not to us. So it got worse, and we went to Emergency, where, after several hours of waiting, we were told to go home, drink Gatorade and eat potato chips. I'm so underwhelmed. Reading this Wiki article tells me that there isn't really much that the emergency room could do. So why tell us to go to Emergency? It would have made more sense to say, "If it gets worse, come in again in to the clinic in the morning and we'll have a look"

Frequency?

[edit]

It would be nice to have some information about how frequently this condition occurs. Kevink707 (talk) 18:32, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
