Elaphe bairdiPantherophis bairdi – Several phylogenetic studies have indicated that this species is properly placed in the genus Pantherophis (see citations in article). Also, the previous suggestion in the article that Elaphe should be maintained based on the standard common names list of the Society for the Study of Reptiles and Amphibians is out of date.
