His whole life was a saga of selfless service to the nation and hence he was called the man of the masses. The name Parvaur T. K. used to reverberate among the people of Travancore-Cochin before and after the Indian independence and he is considered to be the pioneer in implementing and undertaking the construction of highway road systems, bridges, government buildings, irrigation canals and dams in Travancore-Cochin along with his policies which helped the farmers and the workers alike. The policies of reduced fertilizer rates for rice farmers and a higher market rate adopted for the rubber farmers of central Kerala, implemented during his term are a few among his very famous measures that likened him to all the masses of Travancore-Cochin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RJFJR (talk • contribs) 03:12, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
