I made the following two corrections: 1. "one of the last two remaining primeval forests": I removed "two"; there are also other primeval forests remaining in Europa beside Perućica and Białowieża, although they are small. See, for example, List of old growth forests. 2. Over 60 m tall trees are Picea abies and Abies alba. Fagus sylvatica grows never so tall. See, for example, http://82.94.219.20/~jpa/tall%20trees.htm , or http://www.nativetreesociety.org/worldtrees/europe/europe2005/european_trees.htm. There are many web sites about Perućica with the same phrase "Beech trees tower over 60 metres high". I suppose, this has originated from a translation error. Leibundgut's survey (listed in References) gives correct information about tree heights. Krasanen (talk) 10:29, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
