Demise of BHS
The statement "On sale BHS had debts of £1.3bn, including a pensions deficit of £571m.[41]" is wrong. If you follow the link in the reference, you find that the debt and pension deficit numbers are from the time of administration in 2016, NOT when the company was sold for £1. It's certainly true that the pension was in deficit at the time of the sale (mainly due to the collapse of interest rates post-2007), but nothing like as much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.153.113.209 (talk) 09:41, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
Who proposed Green for a knighthood, and when was it done?
When was Green given his knighthood? I want to know what government did this. Was it Blair? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Betathetapi545 (talk • contribs) 15:57, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
- Green received his knighthood in 2006 for ‘services to retail’. Tony Blair was Prime Minister at the time. Logicman1966 (talk) 12:11, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
Owen Owen
Surely there should be something on here about his ownership and Chairmanship of the Lewis's and Owen Owen Department Stores. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.153.200.10 (talk) 20:57, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
