In want to address a few issues before I will review the article:

  • Wasn't he also three times mayor of Hulster Ambacht? [1]
  • Didn't Anna van Driel die while giving birth to their son Pieter? [2]
  • Was he involved in the Siege of Hulst in 1645?
  • Where did he die and where is he buried?

  • The words "imprisonment" and "house arrest" are used interchangeably, but they have a rather different connotation. Could this be clarified?

To address your points in order:
  1. You're right - added that.
  2. Yes, but the article already says she "died [...] giving birth". I think it is clear already, but adding "while" would be OK too.
  3. Nope, he arrived shortly afterwards - text and reference added.
  4. Can't be 100% sure where he died, although I assume it was in Hulst - however, no source I have actually says that outright. He was definitely buried there though - added info and reference.
  5. Clarified.
I've also done a quick style edit. Appreciate all the hard work you have put in so far, and well done on finding that Australian map. Taffy (talk) 15:03, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
