The Ebro Basin (See Ebro) is also an example of a piggyback basin. --Tobias1984 (talk) 14:12, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to add it. I just put the Po Basin in, because it's the type basin, then added another from the Alps. It's a problem that none of the basin articles are geological basin articles, which would be the issue with adding the Ebro Basin. I was going to do an article on a Pakistani or Himalayan example, but adding Ebro and creating its basin article might be easier. --(AfadsBad (talk) 14:16, 4 September 2013 (UTC))[reply]
I think it will be necessary in the future to have separate articles about the geographic basin and the geologic basin. Some are important for hydrocarbons and water resources. Adding the basin development and the stratigraphy would make the geographic basin articles too long. --Tobias1984 (talk) 14:21, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that it would make the geographic basin articles too long to no benefit to the type of reader who might otherwise enjoy the entire articles. --AfadsBad (talk) 14:36, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
