- Yachtsman and former hat maker Pike led a very colourful life, which had already seen him shipwrecked in the Caribbean, injured in a bobsleigh accident, serving in the military, indulge in heavy drinking, and married and divorced three times.
- What this means? How this is related to the history?
A brief background of his colourful life I think is important for understanding the colorful history of the hotel. The hotel history is closely related to his personality and the hedonism at the hotel. ♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 21:50, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
- According to me, the Description of video is not necessary.
- I've trimmed it a bit, but I think the context is relevant.
- Pike who described Mercury as "the most beautiful person I've ever met in my life. So entertaining and generous." Is it a Biographical page of Mercury?
- Trimmed that out and the stuff about him seeking comfort, but the party details are relevant to the hotel and are interesting.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 21:55, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
- At many places, it sounds like a biographical page of Pike (person) in the history section.
- Overall: The article meets the GA criteriaPrashant talk 21:21, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
