Still needs work[edit]
There is also a page for the former company, which seems redundant. Also this needs to be updated to mention Apache Hawq I think? W Nowicki (talk) 23:18, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
At least one editor was still confused by the existing Greenplum article that only talked about the company. After two years now I would propose merging the other direction, using the reasoning that the short name would be sufficient to distinguish the subject. Note that we are not a commercial site, but an encyclopedia, so should use simple titles instead of being required to use the full marketing name. Also to be precise (which we should be!) it is not a database but a database management system, despite its name. W Nowicki (talk) 20:41, 15 March 2017 (UTC) Done
